On April 8, Zhang Ming, Deputy Director-General and Level I Bureau Rank Official of the Regional Opening-up Department of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), led a delegation to China Aluminum International Engineering Co., Ltd. (CHALIECO) for a research visit. Liu Jing, General Manager and Deputy Party Secretary of CHALIECO, and Liu Dongjun, Deputy Party Secretary and Trade Union Chairman of CHALIECO, warmly received the delegation. The two sides held in-depth discussions on the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

In the next step, aligning with the overall deployment of Aluminum Corporation of China (CHINALCO), CHALIECO will actively strengthen communication and cooperation with relevant departments and enterprises, continue to implement various tasks of the joint construction of the BRI, and promote the joint construction of the BRI's high-quality development through continued overseas business growth.

Zhang Ming stated that CHALIECO, as an important participant in the joint construction of the BRI, has always practiced the concept and requirements of the joint construction of the BRI's high-quality development. Over the years, it has participated in the construction of a number of key projects. He hoped that CHALIECO will, in accordance with the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the Fourth Symposium on the BRI Construction, actively engage in the new stage of high-quality development in the golden decade of joint construction of the BRI, coordinate and promote the construction of major landmark projects and "small yet beautiful" livelihood projects, and tell the story of central enterprises in the joint construction of the BRI.
