From March 17 to 25, at the invitation of Venezuela's Ministry of Mining, Ministry of Industry and National Production, and the Venezuelan Corporation of Guayana (CVG) Group, and according to the arrangements of the Chinese Embassy in Venezuela, China Aluminum International Engineering Co., Ltd. (CHALIECO) participated in the Venezuela Expo Metal 2025. The company actively engaged in roundtable discussions with Venezuelan counterparts and other international exhibitors to explore potential cooperation in related fields.

During the exhibition, Venezuela's Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez and Minister of Mining Héctor Silva officially received the CHALIECO delegation. Key government officials including Minister of Industry and National Production Alex Saab visited CHALIECO's exhibition booth for in-depth exchanges. Minister Saab remarked that the advanced technology of Chinese enterprises is highly compatible with the upgrading needs of Venezuela's aluminum industry. President Maduro attaches great importance to cooperation with CHALIECO and looks forward to practical cooperation in areas such as industrial chain extension and efficient resource utilization.

During the exhibition, Chen Feng, Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Venezuela, leaders of the Venezuela Representative Office of China Development Bank, and other people visited CHALIECO's booth for guidance. They held cooperation talks with Venezuela's CVG Group, Corporación Venezolana de Minería (CVM) Group, and multiple local companies on mineral resource development and production capacity restoration of aluminum industrial chains.

During the exhibition, CHALIECO representatives introduced the company's advanced core technologies in alumina, electrolytic aluminum, carbon, and intelligent mining, beneficiation, smelting, tailings, and environmental protection. They also delivered keynote speeches on "Global & Chinese Aluminum Industry Trends with World-leading Alumina, Electrolytic Aluminum & Carbon Technologies" and "Focusing on Bauxite, Tantalum, Niobium, Nickel, and Gold, Innovative Mining & Metallurgical Technology Frontiers" at the conference. The delegation conducted field inspections of CVG's alumina, electrolytic aluminum, and carbon plants.

The CHALIECO Party Committee's Publicity Department and the CHALIECO Overseas Business Division organized this expo participation, which was hosted by the CHALIECO Venezuela Branch. The delegation consisted of experts from the Shenyang Aluminum and Magnesium Engineering and Research Institute (SAMI), Kunming Prospecting Design Institute, and the CHALIECO's Venezuela Bauxite Mine Project Promotion Team.
